Warning: SUPER CHEEZY DESIGN!
This deserves an explanation.
So my close friends and I, when we were kids… over a decade ago, thought we’d be really cool if we started our own clothing company. We had no idea what we were doing, but nonetheless, we went forward with it, and it was around for maybe a year, but ultimately failed miserably because we lacked anything and everything you need to know about running a business. We were teens, and this was before the upsurge of social media. Anyways…
My friend Jake, who was our clothing company’s biggest fan, asked me to design something new, that he would have printed on some pint glasses and gift them to one of my best friend for a wedding present. Normally, I’d find any excuse to avoid dipping back into horrible design work I had done as a kid. But, since it is for Brendan, and enough time has passed since we’ve buried the old “triiiple g” brand, I thought it would be fun to revisit it, and make something SUPER CHEEZY.
What you’re looking at is a process shot which contains the last remaining image (it’s a thumbnail from the old website) of a disgustingly ugly mesh cap (remember those?) that we had printed during our run as a clothing line. That little thumbnail served as my inspiration.
I get a smile on my face just thinking that these are going to go on pint glasses. I’ll snap a picture of them and post it when the time comes.

I realized a while ago that I had intended to upload some process at some point. Here’s the fun project I’ve been working on recently. It’s a t-shirt design for a local taco shop called the Lucha Libre.
I should be wrapping this one up in the following few days, and I’ll upload the finished piece shortly after.
Thanks for following!
